American Apparel - Wholesale T-Shirts - Made in Los Angeles

Sunday, October 23rd, 2005

American Apparel - Wholesale T-Shirts - Made in Los Angeles is the latest casualty of cool.

They’re opening an AA in East Lansing. I am so distraught about this, I don’t know what I will do. I really like their clothing, but there’s no way I’ll be able to wear it now. They’ve become Sub-Urban Outfitters. Worse: what if they become Old Navy?

I’m so traumatized by yet another cool thing biting the dust. Can we please keep the radical and liberal and smart and fashionable things separate from the unwashed red-state masses? I deserve some gay-reparations: all I ask is that the cool stuff remain cool. I might as well go to a monster truck rally and find me a trailer wife.
